Cab tilt pumps and cylinders
MARSHALL product range currently includes more than 50 different cab tilt pumps and cylinders designed for European trucks.
The entire production process of MARSHALL cab tilt pumps and cylinders, including body forming, assembling and labelling is carried out within a single manufacturing facility. Production lines are certified according to the quality management system standard ISO/TS 16949:2009. The final stage of the production process is the testing of each MARSHALL cab tilt pump and cylinder. Such approach ensures total quality control of the products. Special foam plastic packaging used for MARSHALL cab tilt pumps and cylinders protects items from mechanical damage during transportation and storage.
To ensure long lasting life-cycle of cab tilt pumps and cylinders MARSHALL implemented the following technical solutions:
Chrome coating of the cylinder rod
Early wear of the rod is a common cause of cab tilt cylinders breakdowns. Cylinder rod scoring causes damage of seal rings, which leads to the leakage of the hydraulic fluid. Moreover, various abrasive particles, like dirt or sand, might get into the hydraulic fluid through damaged seal rings, and lead to the fault of cab tilt cylinder. Rods of MARSHALL cab tilt cylinders are coated with a reinforced chrome plated layer, which reduces the negative impact of friction and improves wear resistance of the cylinder rod.
High-quality seal rings
Leaks in seal rings of cab tilt pumps and cylinders can cause low pressure in the cab tilt mechanism. This leads to spontaneous lowering of the cab or failure to tilt or lower the cab altogether. MARSHALL uses high-quality seal rings for cab tilt pumps and cylinders, which prevents leakage of hydraulic fluid, and protects the cab tilt mechanism from dirt.
Optimal composition
Replaceable parts of cab tilt pumps and cylinders, such as bushings and fittings, also wear out during operation. All MARSHALL cab tilt pumps and cylinders are supplied in a set with the necessary fittings and bushings.
MARSHALL provides a 2 years standard warranty for cab tilt pumps and cylinders.
